Dear Friends of VNACC and Hospice,
For the past century Visiting Nurse Association of Central Connecticut, Inc. (VNACC) has provided care to the residents of the central Connecticut community. Caring is part of our mission but more importantly, caring is what we are proud to do, every day, when we bring health care to your doorstep.
Today people need home health care and for many it is not a choice but a necessity. As our population ages, more people will need care in their homes. But it is not only the elderly who require home health services. Children, teenagers, and middle-aged individuals need care too. Take for instance “Mrs. N.” A vibrant woman of 45, she never imagined that she would need daily visits from the professionals of VNACC. Back to work now but more importantly, back to feeling well, “Mrs. N” was able to receive quality home health care in the comfort of her own home.
Providing high quality home health care is something our highly trained professionals do on a daily basis. And it shows! Our patients are best in describing the care and compassion that has become a tradition of caring at VNACC. “In this day and age of faceless corporations and businesses, your staff exhibits service beyond compare.”
As a full service agency, Visiting Nurse Association of Central Connecticut, Inc. strives to meet the needs of people of all ages. The scope of our services include skilled and specialty nursing, therapy services, medical social work, public health programming and Hospice of Central Connecticut. Reimbursement at the state, local and federal levels continues to decline. But regardless of the complex reimbursement issues, VNACC remains committed to providing the care, compassion and expertise for which it is known. However, your help is needed now more than ever.
People make choices every day. It is not often though that you can make a choice that will positively impact someone’s life. Today you have the power to do just that. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Annual Fund or to the Friends of Hospice Fund. Your gift, regardless of amount, will make a difference. Your support will enable Visiting Nurse Association of Central Connecticut, Inc. to continue to develop new programs, to update technology and equipment and to continue to provide care where it is needed most – in the comfort of one’s own home.
Sincerely,
| Mr. Victor H. Emerson, Jr. Chairman |
