Nurse Association of Central Connecticut, Inc. provides a full spectrum
of public health programs that promote optimum health and wellness
of individuals, family and the community.
Care Call: A program to
help women have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. The services
of Care Call are free, confidential, and available to women who
reside in the greater New Britain area.
Parent Aide Program:
A community-based program that is designed to provide in home service
to families who need support in parenting and home management. The
services of the Parent Aide Program are free, confidential and are
available to families who have children under the age of 18 and
who live in the following towns: Berlin, Farmington, Kensington,
New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Southington, Unionville, West
Hartford. This program is funded by the Department of Children and
Families.
CareLink: Seniors and
Students: Partners for Wellness. The mission of the CareLink program
is to promote individuals and their families' ability for self care
and to empower them to increase and /or maintain a healthful quality
of life. The services of CareLink are free and are available to
residents of New Britain, Plainville, and Southington who are 60
years of age and older and who are interested in education and/or
prevention of disease. CareLink... linking generations together
to meet the ongoing health needs of the senior community.
