Specific Home Health Care Services

Skilled Nursing
A registered nurse provides therapeutic nursing care in the home. Services may include skilled assessment of the patient's condition, specific treatments ordered by the physician, as well as teaching and management of health problems. The nurse coordinates all services and teaches the individual and family how to independently care for ongoing health needs. A physician must sign the care plan.
